Job Responsibilities

As a Server at China Mama, you will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable dining experience for our patrons. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner, embodying our commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Offering valuable information to assist patrons in making food and beverage selections, enhancing their overall dining experience.
• Presenting ordered choices promptly and efficiently, ensuring seamless service throughout the meal.
• Maintaining the dining ambiance by bringing an enthusiastic attitude to every interaction and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Preparing the dining area by setting up tables with decorations, condiments, utensils, and other essentials that contribute to a pleasing aesthetic.
• Upholding sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies to safeguard both patrons and the establishment.
• Assisting patrons in choosing dishes and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining chef specialties, and providing insights on suitable pairings.
• Facilitating effective communication between patrons, the kitchen, and the bar to ensure precise execution of orders.
• Attending to patrons' unique dietary needs and special requests, demonstrating an attentive and personalized approach.
• Monitoring meal progression and coordinating timing with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of service.
• Enhancing patrons' experience by promptly delivering their selections and providing any necessary accompaniments.
• Maintaining table settings by clearing courses, replenishing utensils, and promptly addressing any special needs.
• Concluding the dining experience by expressing gratitude for patrons' choice and inviting them to return, leaving a lasting positive impression.
• Managing payments, issuing bills, and processing payments accurately and efficiently.
