Description:
Summary:
Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production of menu items and specials in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Responsible for all types of cooking functions required for the preparation of specialty menu items for multiple outlets.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards for a safe and efficient shift
Preform preliminary preparation work in a timely manner
Report directly to Room Chef
Perform various job duties that will include operation of grill, fryer, broiler, oven, and pizza oven in accordance with kitchen needs.
Maintain knowledge of all outlet recipes to ensure food preparation is correct and of high quality
Prepare food according to regular and special menus on a continual basis
Ensure that all food preparation is within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Ensure all areas assigned are clean and free of debris.
To assist with any other job-related duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications
1 year of previous experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant
Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant preferred
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation guidelines
Previous experience working in a team or group environment
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proven experience providing high level of guest service
Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States

Frequently push/pull up to 50 lbs
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
