Robert Half Physical Security Assistant Project Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Physical Security Assistant Project Manager. This role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is fully remote. The industry focus is on physical security and corporate real estate operations. As a Physical Security Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing security projects, coordinating with various teams and vendors, and ensuring compliance with global security policies.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate all new physical security projects and tasks
• Develop and implement project management techniques to ensure timely management of physical security projects
• Serve as the physical security liaison for Global Security with all Project Managers and Security Vendors
• Participate in meetings with IT Owner Architect Contractor to ensure support of all phases during planning, construction, and delivery of security support for each project
• Assist with the walkthrough of all physical security projects to ensure the designed access control and camera system will support the needs of the office
• Identify any failures of the security system during the final walkthrough of all physical security projects and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Develop policy and standard operating procedures for Physical Security projects
• Manage the regional security risk assessment program, undertake site assessments and recommend mitigations in compliance with Global Security Policy and local regulation
• Learn and manage the Security Risk Assessment module within the Resolver database
• Responsible for the identification, development, and review of regional security policies and compliance with Global Security policy Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Operations, Planning, and Policy
• Proficiency in Compliance Review and Database Management
• Proven skills in Project Management, Security, and Vendor Management
• Previous experience acting as a Liaison in a corporate setting
• Knowledge and experience in Construction and Module planning
• Familiarity with Standard Operation Procedures in a physical security context
• Experience with Onsite Coordination and implementing Corrective Actions
• Proficiency in Access Control and Security Policy
• Understanding of Physical Security (PS) and Corporate Real Estate
• Awareness of Local Regulations and Security Risk Assessments
• Experience with Chubb security systems or similar platforms
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
