CDR Maguire Part-Time Mobile Unit Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Las Vegas, Nevada

This role will perform initial patient screenings and analyze any test data while working with the team nurses and physicians to provide the best care possible. The candidate will deliver medical care to a wide variety of patients in a confinement setting and provide guidance or counseling for patients with critical condition.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform initial patient screenings, patient history, and physical examinations.

  • Ability to support multiple physician specialists in the provision of telehealth.

  • Update patient records and update information to ensure accuracy during each patient’s appointment.

  • Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options.

  • Works in collaboration with a physician to assess the physical needs of a patient’s medical type such as psychiatric, oncology, or obstetrics.

  • Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians.

  • Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment.

  • Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity.

  • Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information and counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical condition

OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.

Requirements

  • Master of Science degree or a PhD (Doctor of Nursing Practice) degree required with a focus on Nurse Practitioner preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in Nursing

  • Strong cardiac background and experience.

  • Valid Nurse practitioner License in good standing

  • Excellent grasp of medical terminology, human anatomy, and testing procedures

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.

  • The ability to work with a team and to make decisions.

  • The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.

  • Ability to deal with high pressure.

  • Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and Overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends.

  • Empathy and interpersonal skills for working with patients.

    Detail-oriented and committed to ensuring patient confidentiality.
