Summary:
As a Guest Room Attendant, you are essential to delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring each room meets our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Your responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, replenishing supplies, and attending to special requests to enhance guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment are crucial for creating a positive impression and ensuring that each guest enjoys a memorable stay. Your role is key in upholding our reputation for excellence and ensuring that every room is prepared to the highest standard.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Properly load housekeeping carts with linen, cleaning supplies, and amenities for guest rooms and reload the cart as needed at the end each shift
Complete room status reports and follow procedures for entering and leaving guest rooms
Block room access to properly clean the room and bath according to department guidelines
Strip and remake beds, dust the furniture, vacuum, and sweep carpets in guest rooms
Replace all items that are moved, missing, or damaged and report damaged, broken or missing furniture and equipment immediately to supervisors
Immediately reports to the supervisor any unusual or extreme bio-hazard situations relating to the use of cleaning chemicals
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members to promote a positive image of the property
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
At least 3 months experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment preferred
As it relates to the position, ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment
Consistently review and verify all work to prevent errors and ensure that all tasks are completed to meet service standards
Experience in providing high level of guest service
At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Verify right to work within the United States

Constantly standing and walking
Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
Regularly push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 70lbs
Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist

Ability to use tools or equipment
