Isn't it nice when a great opportunity comes up? This is just that time! We are looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Supervisor to head a team of Accounts Payable Clerks, work on process improvement, and handle discrepancies that arise from the process. The best candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience and experience managing a team either as Supervisor or AP Lead.
salary: $25 - $30 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Ensures that defined internal control processes are always followed.
Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, providing guidance and training to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments.
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Keep an eye on production and backlogs in compliance with standards.
Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies and timely payment.
Maintain relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and disputes promptly to ensure a smooth working relationship.
Determine and promote ongoing AP process improvement.
