NMSU A/V Media Specilist in Las Cruces, New Mexico
New Mexico State Universitys Global Campus seeks an A/V Media Specialist who will support the multimedia needs for New Mexico State University. This includes lectures, athletics, special events and other miscellaneous activities or special occasions.
Duties include: Set-up and install all audio-visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, video projection screens, classroom technology for all approved NMSU events. Set up of all multimedia equipment. Serve as on-site technicians for events such as seminars, lectures concerts, ceremonial occasions, athletic events, meetings, conventions, and presentations and other assignments. Able to operate video cameras and have a working knowledge of video and audio production. Troubleshoot issues in a time-sensitive manner. Provide end-user training as required to support Media Productions. Maintain inventory of all audio/video equipment. Document and follow preventative maintenance procedures. Assist in scheduling and tracking the location of all equipment and media asset. May supervise student staff
