Bent County Transit Driver in Las Animas, Colorado
Transit drivers are employed by the Bent Count Board of Commissioners and are under direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor. Transit Drivers are responsible for operating transit vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. The transit driver is responsible for the safety and well-being of himself, his passengers and all other people on the road. Applicant will be required t operate on a schedule, follow pre-determined routes, respond to emergencies as policy and procedure. Drivers are to maintain the vehicle as well as conduct pre-trip inspections and clean environment. Drivers are to maintain a courteous and respectful attitude and encourage a positive work environment. A professional, well groomed appearance is required. Drivers are required to maintain necessary records and attend all trainings.
WAGES: $14.42 per hour
