Control Panel Production Technician

Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33773

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Rate of Pay: $19.00 - $20.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Control Panel Production Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for fabricating custom panels, back plates, inner doors, and brackets, as well as cutting and creating openings for mounting components on enclosures according to layout specifications. The technician will also review work orders for errors and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate custom panels, back plates, inner doors, and brackets.

  • Cut and create openings for mounting components as per design layouts.

  • Review work orders for accuracy and suggest improvements to processes.

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise fabrication.

  • Operate tools and equipment including shear, brake, plasma cutter, hydraulic punch, stud welder, and various power tools.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Self-directed, dependable, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

  • Prior experience with fabrication tools and equipment is a plus.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
