Shift(s) Available: 2nd shift
Compensation: $26.93/hr
Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Principal Accountabilities:
Adhere to all safety requirements, including use of PPE, area inspections, hazard recognition, and pre-operational equipment inspections.
Address or report hazards found, report deficiencies found with equipment, input work requests into SAP
Perform tasks in the mining cycle, to facilitate the safe and efficient mining of salt.
Perform any task assigned by Production Supervisor
Required Qualifications:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa, or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
High school degree or GED Equivalent
Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends, and different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in production related work
Basic Computer skills
