Wear & Maintenance Components

We design and manufacture wear and maintenance components. We are dedicated to continuously maintaining a world class end-to-end supply chain network providing components exceeding our customer’s expectations in terms of quality, cost, lead-time, and supply chain flexibility requirements.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for the accurate and consistent machining of Hydraulic coupling components designed features, which must be maintained in order to meet Caterpillar’s performance requirements and industry safety standards. This position conducts daily analysis and troubleshooting of machining centers are necessary to support and sustain expected process capability. The incumbent must have experience with CNC and high-speed screw machine equipment, due to the complexity.

Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for MCA’s Machining area:

  • Primary responsibilities would be to continuously strive to drive out waste whilemaintainingPPMgoals within the Value Stream. MCA’s GOAL is to be a World Class Quality and Low-Cost Provider for Coupling Components

Foster the Facilities Lean Leadership efforts through your actions by participating in:

  • RIW’s

  • Value Stream Mapping (VSM)

  • Seekto Find to drive improvements (People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost)

Process owner for all Machining processes and MCA’s – Maintenance Components liaison with the Caterpillar Tech Center SME’s

  • SFEMA’s

  • PFEMA’s

  • SWES

  • SJP’s

  • RCCA’s

  • A3’s

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Engineering Discipline,Manufacturing Engineeringpreferred

  • 1-3yearsofexperience in a manufacturing environment

Top candidates will also have:

  • Machining Experience

  • Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.
