Teach courses primarily in Sociology. Depending upon the program's needs and the candidate's qualifications, teaching assignments may be on LCC's downtown campus, LCC's extension centers and/or via online delivery methods. Full-time faculty are expected to work collaboratively with department faculty to develop course content consistent with official course syllabi, to deliver course instruction to students and to be available for student assistance and advising outside of class. Other responsibilities will include participation in course assessment, program review, department and program meetings, college committees, professional development activities and other duties as assigned.
