Director of Clinical Services Job Highlights: * 403(b) Retirement Plan; * Career scholarships; * Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programs; * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Paid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days) About the job: Pay:$93,600-$104,000 The Director of Clinical Services under the supervision of the Executive Director, provides oversight and management of the overall clinical and operational effectiveness of the PACE clinic and homecare to ensure the consistency and quality of care provided to program participants. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Graduate of a school of professional nursing program required with Bachelors of Science Registered Nursing (BSN) * Current Michigan Registered Nurses License and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required * A minimum of three years' experience in working with the frail or elderly population required * At least four (4) years of nurse management experience in a hospital, nursing home or community-based setting strongly preferred * Proven experience leading a team of professionals. * Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation * Strong ability to create, build and maintain relationships at all levels Essentials: * Provides oversight of the overall operational and clinical effectiveness of the PACE clinic and homecare. * Provides oversight, management, and coordination of the consistency and quality of the twenty-four (24) hour care provided to program participants. * Provides direct supervision and support of personal care service manager, clinic support staff, clinic coordinator, homecare coordinator, pharmacy technicians, oversees personal care scheduler and the dementia program. * Functions as an engaged member of the senior leadership team. In coordination and partnership with other members of the leadership team, assists in the development and implementation of organizational and strategic initiatives. * Oversees the system/process for ensuring both compliance and effectiveness of orientation and ongoing competencies for all staff providing nursing services including registered nurses (RNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), personal care attendants (PCAs), Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, etc. Ensures that clinical and home care staff work within their scope of practice. * In conjunction with Medical Director develops policies and guidelines for all care of patients, i.e., triage, disease management, adherence to NPA model practices. * Actively participates and engages in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Actively participates as a member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
