As a Contracts Administrator at Peckham, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our contract portfolio. You will work closely with senior leadership across six distinct lines of business, ensuring that our contracts are efficiently managed and compliant with all relevant regulations. This position involves working with contracts from federal, state, and local governments, as well as public and private entities, including corporate and 501(c)(3) contracts.
This position is fully remote with the option of hybrid and in-person.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for the full life cycle management of contracts, including:
Lead contract negotiations in coordination with business development stakeholders and program managers.
Consult and assist in responding to RFQs and RFPs providing support and vetting of requirements.
Prepare REAs and claims as needed.
Develop and maintain a streamlined contract management system.
Consult with outside legal counsel as necessary.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle.
Manage and process contract modifications as needed.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to contracts.
Coordinate with contract lead to oversee contract execution, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, particularly the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Remain current with any new requirements by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance.
Creates, reviews, and monitor adherence to legal agreements such as NDA (Non-disclosure agreements), confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements, etc.
Handle contract closeout procedures and ensure all obligations are met
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITES
Assist in drafting statements of work and contract terms.
Work closely with the compliance team to ensure adherence to contract requirements, particularly dealing with FAR clauses.
Work with the contract lead to monitor contract performance and identify and address any out-of-scope activities.
Support contract audits and maintain a comprehensive contract file and FAR clause library.
Serve as the point of contact for contracting officers and external legal counsel, if requested.
Provide training to team members on contract management best practices.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
Manage and update the legal forms library.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience as a contract manager, paralegal, legal assistant, or possession of a law degree.
Experience or training in Federal Acquisitions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification.
