State of Michigan - Department of Treasury Accounting Assistant Administrator in Lansing, Michigan

This position performs a wide variety of duties to assist and advise the Director of the Financial and Accounting Services Bureau, as well as the Division Administrators. This includes researching, interpreting, and analyzing budget, legislative and program policy issues, along with acting as the project coordinator for department-wide SIGMA improvements and upgrades including being the subject matter expert on SIGMA Business Intelligence. As project coordinator, this employee coordinates with Department and Bureau staff to implement special projects for the Bureau and the Divisions as assigned by the Bureau Director. Other functions include certain administrative duties within the Bureau, including budget development and monitoring, business continuity plan liaison with the divisions, information technology coordination with the divisions, and the analysis of the Bureau's human resource and personnel requirements.

Education Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
