Aerotek Order Picker in LANGLEY, British Columbia
Job Title: Order Picker
Wage: $21-22/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm and 7:30am-4:00pm
Location: Aldergrove, BC
Job Description
As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking relevant orders. The orders to be picked are buckets of paint, ranging from 12 to 60 lbs. You will be initially trained on using an electric pallet jack and eventually on forklift and reach truck. You will be required to scan all picked products using an RF scanner, relabel certain products and use an auto-wrapper. Once order picking training is completed, you will learn about tinting, which involves mixing paint colors. This position requires picking approximately 10-16 orders in an 8-hour day and does require consistent heavy lifting throughout your shift.
Must Have
1+ years warehouse experience or similar physical job

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1040 Hour(s) after which you will become a permanent employee.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Aldergrove, BC.
Work Environment
The work environment is a medium size warehouse with 7 individuals on the team. In the warehouse, all tasks are shared, which might include floor sweeping if required. The facility is a temperature-controlled environment with fans for mitigating the summer heat. Steel toe shoes are required and a company shift will be provided.
