Schedule Requirements:
Guaranteed hours every Monday and Tuesday, plus vacation and sick coverage hours
No weekly on-call requirements, limited to Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 1-2PM
The nuclear medicine technologist indepently perform diagnositic imaging procedures on patients requiring our services as requested by physicians.
The technologist is expected to complete these images in a proficient manner while producing the quality images expected from the reading physician.
The nuclear medicine technologist is expected to keep all proper documentation required by the DEP and policies set by our RSO.
The technologist will be expected to take call as needed by the department.
The technologist will communicate any issues with the lead technologist and utilize critical thinking to solve issues independently.
Operates GAMMA cameras and computers to produce diagnostic images and measures concentrations of radioactive isotope in specific body areas to obtain information for use by the Radiologists in diagnosing patients illness.
Current, valid ARRT or CNMT is required.
