Description:

The Administrative Director (AD) of Cardiovascular and Surgical Services is responsible for the overall effective operation of assigned departments to ensure organization goals and objectives are achieved. He/she is responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating growth and development of departments with his/her assigned leaders. The AD is responsible for regional policy and procedure development supported by evidenced based protocols. The AD has 24-hour responsibility for patient care, quality management, human resource management, resource consumption, financial management, operational management and colleague/patient experience in assigned areas. The AD is responsible for ensuring all services are provided in accordance with Hospital Policies, and all regulatory agencies and also insures annual review of AORN and AAMI standards . He or she has direct supervision of departmental managers. The AD is required to take administrative call for SMMC.

The ideal candidate will have training and experience in operating room management and techniques, knowledge of cardiovascular and interventional radiology; Master's degree, professional certification, current PA RN license, excellent interpersonal communication and skilled in working in a high-stress environment.
