Cyber Software Engineer (Software Engineer labor categories)

Can start without a clearance, but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

Research and develop innovative solutions for a best-in-class secure computing environment as part of a highly adaptable rapid prototyping group.

· Build proofs of concept for one-of-a-kind capabilities.

· Perform peer testing and code review.

· Troubleshoot and debug issues.

· Contribute to all levels of the architecture.

· Maintain technical documentation.

· Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices.

· Collaborate with team to author technical reports and demonstrate capabilities to both internal and external stakeholders.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI

Other Requirement: US Citizenship

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another technical field

· 2-4 years professional software development experience

· Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI security clearance

· Experience writing, testing, and debugging software

· Experience with version control, issue tracking, and documentation tools

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

· Strong knowledge of C/C++

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems

· Linux development experience at user and kernel levels

· Experience modifying and compiling large open-source codebases

· Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

· Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins

· CompTIA Security+ certification
