Position Summary
Oversees and executes the strategies for final mile delivery operations. Develops and implements strategic initiatives to enhance and expand carrier services.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Leads, coaches, and develops teams to manage front-line operations.
Fosters a culture for safety across teams through clear communication and accountability.
Drives performance through efficiency, quality, and process improvement by identifying key business drivers.
Develops and executes strategies to enhance the organization's final mile operations by implementing new tools and processes.
Oversees daily final mile delivery operations by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Tracks and monitors key performance indicators and prepares reports on cost efficiency and operational performance.
Manages relationships with business partners and ensures compliance with service agreements.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and complaints and implement long-term solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field.
7+ years of logistics or transportation experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation management tools.
