Position Summary:
To supervise the maintenance activity through the implementation of a preventive maintenance program and an ongoing maintenance repair program for the facility, production maintenance and process equipment.
Responsibilities:
Supervises maintenance staff.
Maintenance of building, machinery and grounds and procurement of necessary materials
Responsible for environmental, health and safety for the facility
Install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment.
Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.
Test and calibrate pneumatic HVAC controls.
Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.
Check and repair pumps, fans, valves and motors.
Adjust, repair and replace electrical and electronic pneumatic relays.
Prepare accurate records for preventive maintenance.
Perform related work as required.
Prioritizes personal safety and the safety of the plant, actively contributes to the reporting of safety observations, and fostering a culture of safety awareness, resulting in zero workplace accidents.
Deploy and maintain Natural Team(s) HPT model for assigned functional areas including team leadership as required.

The associate is occasionally required to reach above the shoulders, and lift and/or move 30 to 50 lbs.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to assemble parts.
Ability to work overtime hours as required by business need.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
2-year degree/trade certification/license preferred
High school diploma required.
Journeyman level in several trades
5 years related maintenance experience.
3 to 5 years supervisory experience.
Familiarity with boilers, air compressors, heating and air conditions, plumbing, welding, carpentry, electrical/electronic equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and heavy manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.
Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved.
Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments.
Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams.
