Aerotek Janitor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Now hiring janitors, for a health care facility, in the Lancaster, PA area!
All shifts available; Mon-Fri + rotating weekends
$15-17/hour
Job duties & Responsibilities:
Primarily cleaning hospital rooms when a patient is discharged, changing linens, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, and prepping room for next patient.
Other responsibilities include: sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing common areas, restrooms, waiting areas, hall ways, cafeterias, clinics, etc.
Lighter work, but fast pace environment. Lots of walking throughout shift.
May clean areas soiled with blood or bodily fluids
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a lot of walking on their shift (could be 1-2 miles/shift), detail oriented, and be comfortable and discreet while cleaning soiled items up to and including blood and bodily fluids. Ideal candidate will have great attendance and be able to work in a fast paced, possibly chaotic environment. The best fit candidate would have prior experience cleaning a hospital or health care facility, as well as a strong desire to help people.
Shifts and Working Environment: (multiple openings on all shifts)
1st shift - 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday + rotating weekends
2nd shift - 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday + rotating weekends
3rd shift - 11pm-7:30am Monday-Friday + rotating weekends
