Robert Half Financial Analyst in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our team located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As a Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in executing detailed business analysis and financial plans for our operations. You will also assist in managing financial and cost control systems, ensuring accurate and timely information for decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Execute critical business analysis and financial plans for plant and business operations.

• Actively participate in reporting progress against both tactical and strategic direction for the operation including financial and non-financial metrics.

• Assist in developing monthly forecasts and annual operating plans for the location.

• Provide financial analysis alternatives for marketing, setting prices, and driving the richest product mix for the location.

• Maintain financial and cost control systems, ensuring accurate and timely information.

• Perform monthly reconciliation between Oracle and the AS400 system and prepare adjusting journal entries to book to the general ledger.

• Prepare monthly journal entries from worksheets, maintaining daily records for inventory elements, and performing monthly reconciliations related to inventory and cost accounting.

• Perform metal receiving functions, maintaining accurate daily records for all metal receipts to reconcile the activity to inventory reporting and billings.

• Participate in the budgeting and reporting process.

• Assist with the accounting and management of fixed assets. Requirements • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role

• Proficiency in financial planning and strategy

• Understanding of financial law and business operations

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

• Knowledge of budget processes and annual forecasts

• Expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical forecasting

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
