Aerotek Electrical Panel Builder in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Job Posting: Panel Builder

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay Range: $25-27/hr

Summary:

Join our team as a Panel Builder, where you’ll apply electrical principles to assemble and install wiring, components, and equipment into electric control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex wiring and assembly operations.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

  • Inspect wiring installations and electrical components.

  • Conduct functional testing of equipment (up to 480 volts).

  • Use and maintain fabrication tools (e.g., crimpers, wire stripping tools).

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams.

  • Demonstrate electrical safety practices and proper PPE use.

  • Manufacture prototypes and provide feedback.

  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

  • Train and guide other operators.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: 2-4 years in electrical work with industrial control panels or 3-5 years in a similar field.

  • Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.

  • Strong communication skills in English.

  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret charts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
