A success coach monitors and assures compliance in employment and social service programs including Work Activities. Assists individuals and families in overcoming barriers that prevent self-sufficiency. Conducts comprehensive needs assessments, create individualized plans, and identify goals. They also serve as a customer advocate with employers, counselors, and other social service agencies. Duties 50% Monitor and assure compliance in employment and social service programs including Work Activities. Assist families in overcoming barriers that prevent self-sufficiency. Conduct comprehensive needs assessment, create individualized plans, and identify goals. Serve as a customer advocate with employers, counselors, and other social service agencies. 30% Determine clients' eligibility and need for publicly funded social service programs (e.g. childcare, transportation, PRC and other social service programs as needed). 10% Perform various clerical duties (e.g., ongoing documentation, maintain forms and case records). 5% Attend social services related training, conferences and other educational programs. 5% Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Completion of undergraduate major core coursework or two years technical training in behavioral science, social science, early childhood development technology, education or related field. - Or four courses in behavioral science one of which must be in child development or two years' experience in behavioral science of which 6 months must be in the area of child development, one course or six months experience in business mathematics, one course or six months in experience in interviewing, one course or six months experience in typing, keyboarding or word processing.
