Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Farmworkers to work in Lancaster, Mn. From: 11/01/2024 - 06/30/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DUTIES: Assist with feeding and general care of cattle, monitor health of dairy cattle in feedlot, Maintain water systems to prevent water from freezing, operate snow removal equipment from access roads, pathways and around the barn, perform routine maintenance and repair on farm equipment and facilities, ensure farm structures are in good condition and provide adequate shelter for livestock, clean stalls, maintain ventilation and heating systems in the barn, maintain records of cattle health, treatments, feeding schedules and other essential farm activities. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience for the job duties listed; able to lift up to 50 lbs.; able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements; no minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
