Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianJob Description
Perform the required quality control testing of products in process using the prescribed procedures and techniques. Based on the results of quality control testing, make any necessary formula adjustments to bring the product into specification. Document any adjustments on the batch ticket and on the QC card. Approve as finished goods any in-process products that meet specifications. Sign off on the batch ticket and on the QC card. Test in-process products and sample every product that comes in.
Responsibilities

Make necessary formula adjustments based on quality control test results to bring products into specification.
Document any adjustments on the batch ticket and QC card.
Approve in-process products that meet specifications as finished goods.
Sign off on the batch ticket and QC card.
Test in-process products and sample every product that comes in.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of chemistry.
Experience with FTIR and microscopy, even if only in an academic setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good communication skills.
Team player.
Motivated and shows initiative.
Experience in laboratory settings and color matching.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $57000.00
