Assisting the business function and/or Business Excellence Centers as a Trade & Transportation & Order Fulfillment Manager, you will ensure that goods are shipped while meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. You will be responsible for leading a team of specialists who provide support on order and fulfillment to internal divisions (example, order assistance, payment related assistance), and will oversee internal order fulfillment processes, definition, implementation and execution to achieve target levels of service quality, operational efficiency, and internal division satisfaction. In this role, you are responsible for Local Trade Compliance, covering Import and Export transactions and ensuring the proper handling of import duty expense and other customs related fees by ABB`s business operations. This is a position with global grade 11 This position reports to Supplier Management Your responsibilities Create, implement, monitor and review internal order fulfillment and customer support strategy Define key targets (example OTD - On Time Delivery) and ensure these are achieved for the customer order fulfillment. Monitor and manage the performance delivery of Team via frequent KPI (Key Performance Indicators) supported reviews Achieve cost reductions through the implementation and use of Trade preference Agreements; Duty Drawback; Bonded warehouses; etc Develop, implement and maintain customer support processes. Participate in customer support related development projects (example, tools, competences, resources) Ensure the resolution of internal division issues (example, order, payment) by coordinating with pricing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams Create, maintain and implement written Local Import and Export compliance procedures as directed by the CTCO and GTOM and RTOM and in accordance with Group policy and requirements Ensure local procedures are established and responsibilities assigned for accurate HTS and ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) classification of all import and exported products/technology with respect to relevant national regulations. Control procedures for screening all proposed exports with respect to relevant export control requirements. Advise senior management of the status of the import and export compliance program as well as relevant changes in import/export laws and regulations Ensure compliance of shipping with all local and global regulations, whilst optimizing the distribution network and customs procedures and taking full advantage of possible free trade benefits Lead the administration of SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Compliance System deployed by the organization to support the trade compliance process. Advise in house legal counsel; appropriate senior management; and CTCO of any suspected export control violation Ensure division orders are placed with properly approved discount. Ensure timely issue of invoices for revenue generation. Identify and closely follow up on the issues relating to credit Recommend appropriate solution for special customer requests and coordinate with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (example resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
