The Civil Systems Group (CSG) is seeking qualified individuals with experience supporting program and project implementation of space technologies, capabilities, and missions for a diverse customer set at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and other government organizations. We are looking for a COSMIC - Project Management Engineer, Senior Project Engineer- Technical Program Management Office. This position will support the Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities (COSMIC) and other ISAM activities within NASA's Space Technology Mission Directorate, along with other ISAM activities throughout Aerospace. Work Model This is a full-time position based in one of the following locations: Chantilly, VA, Albuquerque, NM, El Segundo, CA, Crystal City, VA, Houston, TX, Cleveland, OH, Colorado Springs, CO, offering a hybrid work model that combines 3-4 regular onsite workdays and remote flexibility as the business needs allow. What You'll Be Doing Responsible for facilitation, and technical and program management for the Missions and Ecosystems Focus Area and Industry Caucus in support of the Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities (COSMIC) Provide program integration and strategic input to COSMIC leadership Provide technical and programmatic leadership for product development Support strategic design, road mapping, and community building efforts Organize and lead engineering teams to solve customer challenges Communicate effectively and be able to summarize and present findings to Aerospace, customer, and community senior leadership. Participate in day-to-day technical tasking and issue resolution Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed What You Need to be Successful - Senior Project Engineer- Technical Program Management Office Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, science, or another related STEM Field 12+ years of increasingly responsible professional engineering expertise, including experience in a systems engineering and/ or program management environment Strong project management, technical leadership, and team management skills Experience with technology development, systems engineering, and space architecture definition Familiarity with ISAM technologies, personnel, and government and private sector organizations with an interest in providing or requesting ISAM services Proven experience in partnership development / customer relations with multiple government
