Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $145,000 The total compensation opportunity includes the base salary, a 15% annual bonus opportunity, and $10,000 equity. The Manager, Electronic Systems Engineering that supports our Calibration Solutions business has responsibility for leading a dynamic team of hardware and embedded systems engineers to drive the development of cutting-edge electronic systems. Drawing upon your extensive experience in both PCBA design and embedded systems development, you will play a critical role in overseeing the entire product development lifecycle. Key Job Responsibilities: * Provide strong technical leadership in PCBA design, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability. * Oversee the creation of schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation. * Manage embedded systems development projects, ensuring code quality, reliability, and adherence to industry standards. * Collaborate with embedded systems engineers to optimize software-hardware interactions and system performance. * Champion DFT and DFM principles within the electronic system designs. * Collaborate with component suppliers, PCB manufacturers, and embedded systems tool providers. * Develop RFQs and agreements with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and timelines. * Conduct extensive testing and validation of designs and communicate risk levels to the team. * Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate electrical systems with other subsystems and ensure seamless system functionality. * Lead and support the prototyping, testing, and debugging of electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions. * Conduct design reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality designs and adherence to best practices. * Stay up to date with the latest advancements in electronics engineering and apply this knowledge to improve system architecture methodologies, sourcing agility, and design for manufacturability. Qualifications/Education: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 6 years managing teams focused on electronics systems design and development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in PCBA design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and DFT principles * Proficiency in embedded systems development using code languages such as C, C++, or Python. * Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and thermal management. * Experience in radio frequency communications systems and designing related circuitry, including off-the-shelf transceivers, power amplifiers, crystal tuning, balun filt r networks, and antenna design preferred. * Experience in utilizing test and measurement equipment, including Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Digital Multimeters, Emulators, Signal Generators, and Spectrum Analyzers to debug and troubleshoot circuit boards at both the board and system level.
