Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• One year of experience as a licensed EMT

• One year of experience driving ambulance or other emergency vehicle

• Two years as a licensed driver

• Familiarity with local region

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Current Colorado State EMT certification required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association required

• IV certification within 2 months of hire required

• Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC or CVEO) within 6 months of hire/transfer and Valid Colorado driver’s license and no moving violations for past two years required

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 12 months of hire/transfer for EMT’s doing BLS transports required

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life® Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. In 2023, we received our exciting Magnet® designation! We are so proud of our staff for this achievement, which is awarded to only 10 percent of hospitals around the world. $18.00 - $26.86 / hour
