Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities At Post Consumer Brands, the System Engineer on our IT Supply Chain team designs, develops and maintains applications to support our business capabilities. Regular responsibilities include activities required to implement, enhance and maintain software applications and integrations, collaboration with other IT roles and business team members and ensure operational excellence for the applications owned. Maintains strong working relationships with business analysts, project leads, supervisors, managers and other IT staff members, as well as Super Users, business leads, and other employees needing IT support. Responsibilities: Develop, test and maintain application and integration interface solutions. Work with Business Systems Analysts and Business Process Leads to develop software system requirements, specifications, and designs. Provide technical knowledge and expertise to help Business Systems Analysts translate business needs into technical designs, and to help Project Leads estimate and plan for project work. Ability to learn and integrate new technologies through formal and informal means. Assist Senior Systems Engineers and/or Solution Architects with researching and conducting POC’s with new technologies. Design, develop and document data models and architectures that represent specific business processes/solutions – skilled at data and process modeling and relational databases. Creative problem solving/troubleshooting skills - ability to resolve complex issues and own or assist with root cause analysis and resolution as required. Assist with installation of new software, upgrades and software patches as well as database tuning associated with the application. Good organization skills to track patching progress and maintain lists of necessary patch levels by application on servers and end-user devices. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize/execute tasks in high-pressure fast paced environment Highly confident, self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. Understands the role and importance of information security. Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude, even under high pressure situations. Provide 24X7 operational support to the company as part of a rotating on-call team. Qualifications Bachelor and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information management or related discipline. 5+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience from requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support Demonstrated PL/SQL experience, including complex query writing, creating objects and support. Excellent knowledge of software system development methodologies and Relational Data Base concepts. Experience working in and supporting a SOX-compliant environment. Demonstrated experience with backend development in Oracle (PL/SQL) or MS SQL (T-SQL) environments, writing complex queries, creating objects and server optimization/support. Preferred Experiences/Capabilities: Technical experience working on Koerber WMS or comparable WMS application Preference for working experience with one or more of the following application integration platforms: Boomi, MuleSoft, Tibco, SOA or ETL such as DataStage. Preference will be given to those candidates with 3-5 years working experience in a CPG Manufacturing company with knowledge across multiple cross functional system solutions such as ERP (JDE preferred), WMS (Koerber Preferred), Inventory Management, Master Data Management. Fluency in cloud platforms and concepts such as MS Azure, DevOps, API connectivity, containerization, and cloud security (OAuth 2.0, Azure Active Directory)
