Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Lakeville, Minnesota
Description Robert Half has an immediate opening for an eager and ambitious Accounting Manager at a growing, dynamic Service company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes Requirements - Month end closings experience desired
Demonstrated knowledge of Annual Financial Reporting
Expertise in Direct Supervision
Supervisory management experience
Annual Budget experience
Adeptness in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
Experience with budget management
General familiarity with Analyze Financial Statements
Reliable technology and analytical abilities
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
