Continental Apparel Logistics Associate in Lakeville, Indiana

Hoosier Racing Tire is the largest race tire manufacturer in the world. Hoosier has grown to produce over 1000 different types of race tires. The company has its own 300-mph test wheel; a technology center; state-of-the-art, fully integrated production facilities recently adding a high-tech mixing plant, with enough capacity to produce not only for Hoosier Racing Tire, but to have the ability to produce rubber for additional entities as well as a model sales and distribution network.

Our Hoosier location in Lakeville, IN is seeking a 1st shift Apparel Logistics Associate to join our team.

The Apparel Logistics Associate is a key player in our logistics and apparel operations, specifically managing apparel inventory and providing essential support to the BAL.ON’s logistics needs. This role ensures the smooth coordination of preparing, packaging, and shipping apparel items while managing the inventory and order fulfillment processes. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the BAL.ON team to support logistics requirements.

  • Monitor safety stock levels and collaborate with the Apparel Manager to determine reorder dates and quantities.

  • Assist the Apparel Manager in managing promotional apparel events, providing updates on orders, stock levels, and company store inventory.

  • Process orders by writing them up, monitoring inventory levels, and keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing items.

  • Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy, promptly addressing discrepancies.

  • Pull, prepare, and package apparel and marketing orders for timely and accurate shipment.

  • Receive and inspect new inventory items, ensuring they meet quality standards and match order quantities.

  • Maintain a well-organized and clean apparel warehouse, ensuring equipment is routinely maintained.

  • Assist in managing the return process by overseeing returned items, checking for completeness, reviewing, and approving returns as necessary.

  • Monitor the Amazon website to ensure accurate product listings and order fulfillment.

  • Perform other assigned duties to ensure seamless apparel department operations.

  • Assist in the operation of SAP Systems to manage logistics and inventory data effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a similar field is preferred.

  • Familiarity with embroidery machines and apparel handling is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to work well with others.

  • Capable of following written instructions in English and executing tasks accurately.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to lift 20-75 lbs frequently and carry out physical tasks such as bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work overtime if needed.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work visas for this position. Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience operating SAP Systems to manage logistics and inventory data effectively.
