We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Branch Manager - Lakeside position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…


Responsible for all daily activities associated with branch of responsibility in a manner consistent with delivering Hawthorne and Caterpillar annual business plans, goals and objectives. A special focus and emphasis on rental revenue growth, financial and time utilization, and sales rep performance is required.



  • Overall supervision, development, and performance management of branch personnel.

  • Deliver annual R2R, HR, and rental roll out revenue targets.

  • Work with RSR’s to ensure Sales Pro performance standards are being met. Take corrective action and provide maximum support and direction where deficiencies are present.

  • Utilizing Dodge Data, assist RSR’s with opportunity analysis and new business opportunity generation.

  • Ensure safe, efficient shop and yard practices are being observed at all times.

  • Utilization of IRents reports such as Return to Ready to ensure maximum fleet availability.

  • Oversee all safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug and alcohol testing.

  • Oversee trucking and dispatching of both company fleet and sublet trucking

  • Code and approve authorized accounts payable invoices.

  • Assist Corp Rental Manager in acquisition and disposing of inventory (both Cat & Allied)

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Must Have 3 to 5 Years of experience in Construction Equipment Industry

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

  • Strong sales and customer service experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred.

  • An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation.

  • Organizational and communication skills.


  • Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.

  • Handling: Works with hands.

  • Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts, small tools, batteries, and tampers. May lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.

  • Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.

  • Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.

  • Climbing: In and out of equipment.

  • Vision: Reads rental documents and computer screens.

  • Talking: Communicates via telecommunications and in person.

  • Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles.


  • Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.

  • Temp/Weather: Works in an office environment and outside with variations of temperature and weather.

  • Exposure: Foul odors, fumes, bright lights, dust, gas, and harsh substances.
