A Packaging Engineer for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Lakeland, FL area. The Packaging Engineer designs packaging solutions, ensures safety and compliance, and recommends improvements and innovations.

Develop and design packaging equipment and materials for safe, convenient, and attractive transport of goods.
Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine required packaging materials based on product characteristics and handling requirements.
Evaluate packaging and transporting methods to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Recommend efficient packing procedures and innovations in packaging materials.
Assess and suggest improvements for sealing and fastening devices.
Stay updated on innovations in packaging technology and materials.
Use professional expertise and judgment to work independently with minimal supervision.
Apply procedures and concepts relevant to the discipline effectively.
Education:
Typically requires a university degree or extensive practical knowledge gained through experience.
