Position: Maintenance Mechanic - Electrician Location: Lakeland, FL Shifts: 2nd
Our client is urgently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Electrician to join their vibrant manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical devices, ensuring the highest levels of operational excellence.

Education: High School diploma or GED; 2-3 years of specialized or technical training.
Experience: 1-3 years in industrial electrical systems; state-level license certification preferred.
Skills: advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, good communication skills, and advanced math proficiency.
Tools: Must possess a variety of personal industrial/electrical hand tools.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed.
Utilize cutting torches, plasma cutters, and machine shop tools.
Read and interpret machine diagrams and plant layout drawings.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned machinery.
Recognize potential mechanical issues, develop repair solutions, and execute plans.
Assist in calibrating in-plant electrical equipment and maintain plant lighting systems.
Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from the Mechanic/Electrician Lead.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
