Insight Global Junior Procurement Agent in Lakeland, Florida
Job Description
A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Junior Procurement Agent/Buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate has at least one year under their belt of Public Procurement. This is not a position where you will be pushing paper all day, this will require strategic thinking and collaboration with other buyers in the organization. This person will be responsible for processing requisitions, issuing solicitations, comparing contracts to make sure the organization is getting the best pricing, etc. The schedule for this position is a hybrid approach with 4 days in office, 1 day remote.

Skills and Requirements
· 1+ years of experience with Public Procurement
· Experience with reviewing contracts
· Strong understanding of the board of government laws and Florida state statutes
· Basic understanding of reconciliation's
· Strategic thinker Higher education background null
