We are looking for an innovate licensed senior Civil Engineer who is interested in working on a variety of land development projects.
Engineers work on a wide range of engineering projects. Our team provide creative and innovative solutions to land development designs and permitting. If you are the selected candidate for this position, you will be part of a technical team working in the land development, municipal and permitting consulting industry.
Position Responsibilities:
- Site development engineering (including feasibility, drainage review and reporting, grading plans, pavement design)
- Oversee, direct and mentor junior staff members
- Prepare proposals for new project work
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client(s) and is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction to build larger portfolio of projects with those clients
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic modeling (e.g., ICPR, Storm CAD, MODRET, HECRAS)
- Design of storm water management systems, full site design, utility design, pumping systems, roadways/turn lanes and offsite improvements.
- Cost estimating
- Engineering plans and specifications
- Strong technical/qualitative writing ability
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Position Requirements:
- Have a BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years' experience
- Strong water resources background/experience
- FDOT experience is a plus
- A Florida PE license or the ability to obtain in 1 year
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-pace environment
