Naval Air Systems Command PROGRAM MANAGER in Lakehurst, New Jersey

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Support Equipment Engineering Department, PEO (T) PSE Division, E-2C/D Avionics/NGJ SE Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will manage project/program requirements, objectives, and metrics; and resolves conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources. You will develop NAVAIR/DoN program policies, resolves critical problems or issues related to policy application, and coordinates major program functions within the NAVAIR, DoN, and subordinate installations You will provide overall direction, coordination and management of all facets and functions of a major technical program or several closely related technical programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-05/GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, budgeting and managing across all system areas for identification, development, acquisition, production, and delivery of all required Support Equipment (SE) for domestic and Foreign Military Sales customers; 2) Coordinating and interfacing with appropriate Program Offices, NAVAIR and NAWCAD Departments, system commands, fleet representatives, and contractors to assure proper execution; 3) Making major program recommendations concerning program direction, resources, policies, and schedules; and 4) Managing all project schedules and acquisitions to ensure all projects are developed, tested and fielded as planned.
