Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, specializing in the production of components for ventilators and other medical-grade equipment and parts. This role is primarily focused on Lathe operations and some Swiss machining.
Responsibilities
Setup, operate, and program various CNC machines, particularly focusing on Lathe operations and Swiss machining.
Utilize general knowledge of CNC and manual machine tools, their operation, tooling, and setup.
Work with specific knowledge of machining centers, including Fadal VMCs & controllers, Multus, Hardinge Lathes & Fanuc controllers, Okuma LR10, LT10, LT-200MY, and LFS lathes, Okuma MA series.
Set up, prove out, and edit new part programs and existing part programs on various CNC machines.
Read, interpret, and edit machine code.
Read and interpret part prints and geometric tolerancing.
Calculate and adjust tool speeds and feeds to match machining conditions.
Assist programmers with new part development.
Use cutting tools and understand their application, various grades, and designations.
Use traditional inspection tools to verify part dimensions.
Utilize CMMs, surface measuring equipment, and optical inspection equipment to verify part dimensions.
Essential Skills
5+ years of CNC setup experience on a Lathe.
Proficiency with Haas, Okuma, and CNC Swiss machines.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric tolerancing.
Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience on a Swiss machine.
Proficiency with programming and setup of CNC machines.
Strong understanding of machining conditions and tool applications.

Work Environment
Our work environment is clean and organized, with a climate-controlled shop. We have 55 total employees, and we offer flexible work shifts, including: 1st shift: 5am-3pm, Monday-Thursday, 2nd shift: 2:45pm-12:45am, Monday-Thursday, and weekend shift: Friday-Sunday, 6am-6pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00
