Job Description The Commercial Loan Collateral Perfection Specialist is responsible for collateral processing on originated commercial and ag loans, ongoing collateral monitoring, and paid loan processing including releasing of collateral. Minimizing fraud related losses by maintaining constant awareness and reacting promptly to suspicious activity and deceptive practices along with following established company guidelines for identification and reaction to suspicious activity and fraud. Also, responsible for the perfection and release of collateral for the following lending units as assigned: Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Ag Lending and SBA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately and efficiently perfect collateral such as UCC's, vehicle titles, and mortgage filings. Monitor collateral filing reports to ensure items are recorded in a timely manner; follow up on outstanding items as necessary. Review paid loan reports to identify any collateral releases necessary, and prepare any needed release documents. Serve as a resource for internal lending partners in researching collateral perfection or status questions. Demonstrate commitment to Bremer's risk management approach including compliance with all applicable industry regulations, state and federal regulations, Bremer's policies and procedures, and completion of allrequired training which supports compliance throughout QUALIFICATIONS: Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of experience, with 1-2 years of collateral processing experience preferred. High attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, problem solving, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while delivering quality results. #LI-KB1, #LI-Hybrid Pay Range Pay Type: Non-Exempt/Hourly Minimum: $ 16.63 Midpoint: $ 23.77 Maximum: $ 30.87 The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, time-off, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
