Job Title: Mechanic
Job Description
Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately with limited supervision. Duties include body work on trucks, collision repair, panel replacements, painting truck parts and equipment, and welding. Work with hand and power tools to fabricate products, work on hydraulics, and perform mechanic work.
Responsibilities
Execute repair orders efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
Conduct body work on trucks, including collision repair and panel replacements.
Paint truck parts and equipment.
Perform welding tasks.
Utilize hand and power tools for product fabrication.
Work on hydraulic systems.
Carry out general mechanic work.
Essential Skills
Experience in truck repair and autobody repair/collision repair.
Proficiency in assembly, mechanical work, and use of hand and power tools.
Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems.
Ability to install and repair truck accessories.
Diesel repair and troubleshooting skills.
Welding and pneumatics experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Auto repair experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 1 year of mechanic or installation experience on vehicles, specifically industrial trucks.
Experience with repairing and replacing truck bodies.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Requires own small hand tools and tool box.
Forklift experience required.
