Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machinist Level III, you will be responsible for metal cutting, drilling, grinding, and deburring parts according to blueprint specifications. You will stage parts using a forklift and pallet jack, operate CNC machines, and perform general helper duties around the machine shop. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to assist with various tasks to ensure smooth production.
Responsibilities
Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties associated with operations.
Set up and operate CNC machines, transport material, operate wash tanks, and move material using a forklift.
Work overtime when required to support manufacturing needs.
Troubleshoot and solve everyday problems.
Float from one machine to another as needed.
Essential Skills
1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience running a machine in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience performing quality inspections on finished parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Sit down forklift experience.
Deburring experience.

Work Environment
The facility is split into half assembly side and half machine shop, and is temperature-controlled throughout. There is a relaxed dress code allowing sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats; work pants and jeans are acceptable, but leggings and sweatpants are not. The facility is very clean with minimal debris, as safety is a top priority. Shifts available are: 1st (7AM-3PM M-F), 2nd (3PM-11PM M-F), 3rd (11PM-7AM Sun-Thu), 1st AWS (6AM-6PM Fri-Sun), and 3rd AWS (6PM-6AM Fri-Sun). PPE required includes steel or composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses, with earplugs and glasses provided by the employer.
