Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
We are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct. This role will collaborate closely with management and legal counsel to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The candidate will also support the HR team with generalist duties, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training. This position requires someone who can maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information with discretion, and stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct.
Collaborate with management and legal counsel to ensure investigations are conducted in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Document findings and prepare comprehensive investigation reports.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support the HR team with generalist duties, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Passionately organize and spearhead employee engagement activities.
Address various employee concerns, such as communication issues, job/shift/manager changes, inappropriate comments, and questions about pay, benefits, checks, and hours.
Assist with W2s and I9s.

Work Environment
This position is fully onsite with no hybrid flexibility. The ideal shift is from 9am to 6pm, but there is flexibility for an 8am to 5pm shift if needed. You will be working in a team environment with six other members, and you will have the opportunity to influence the development of policies and the HR department. The company has been established in Lafayette, IN. providing a stable work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
