Robert Half Director of Property Management in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania

Description

We have partnered with a client within the real estate industry on their search for a Director of Property Management with prior property management experience. As the Director of Property Management, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of property management including: ensuring compliance and standards are in line with all regulations, monitoring the leasing of new construction projects, providing supervisory oversight to regional managers, staying abreast of vacancies within communities, developing and executing strategic plans for property management, and overseeing day-to-day operations such as community leasing/tenant relations/maintenance and financial management. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong understanding of real estate principles, experience with real estate accounting software, strong analytical skills, and advanced financial analysis skills.

What you get to do daily

· Negotiate contracts and service agreements

· Assist with project leasing

· Client Management

· Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations related to property mgmt

· Develop and manage annual budgets for property operations

· Monitor financial performance

· Coordinate with internal departments as needed

· Provide leadership and guidance to property management team

· Create preventative maintenance programs

· Prepare reports as needed

· Conduct market research and analysis

Requirements

The ideal Director of Property Management will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Director of Property Management role include and are not limited to:

· 10+ years experience in affordable housing property management

· 5+ years experience in a property management director role

· Government/Non-Profit industry experience preferred

· MUST have CPO or COS certifications

· Travel required (local & West Coast)
