The IT Senior Manager is responsible for setting and executing the overall site Digital Technology strategy, including oversight of all Digital Technology activities occurring in or impacting the site, while working in close cooperation with centralized DT and site management. This person also serves on the Plant Manager’s staff representing DT. This position is responsible for coordination of all DT activities in the plant. This position is accountable for planning, directing work, leveraging team and individual strengths, responsible use of resources including company funds; addressing complaints and solving problems to ensure high quality results. This role is 100% onsite in Lafayette, GA.

Job Description

Manage the portfolio of manufacturing DT projects for the location based on Factory Master Plans and larger digital supply chain hoshin projects.
Provide overall leadership of the DT function in the facility, including development of the DT site roadmap and execution strategy; this includes implementation of new applications as well as driving the overall adoption of DT systems.
Coordinate DT related activities and needs within the location while working with peers, the Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Quality Manager and others at the site on developing DT goals, strategies, plans and budgets that support the site while ensuring overall enterprise goals, strategies, standards, policies, and plans are met and maintained
Partner with users and DT application owners to generate ideas that will increase application productivity & value-add functionality
Communicate and employ the capabilities of the overall DT organization which benefit of the site
Ensure projects are properly prioritized and manage the locations expectations
Provide Guidance and Oversee Activities of the FIS Team, Desktop Support Teams, and Test Equipment Teams to manage the digital space of the factory
Work closely with the DT Managed Services provider to ensure the support of all site-specific information management systems, network, and desktop environments
Ensure adherence to enterprise procedures, and compliance with regulations and policy
Ensure responsible use of related company resources including DT equipment and expenditures.
Facilitate regular service level reports and analysis to the plant by the DT Managed Services team for continual service improvement.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, MIS, Computer Science, or Engineering or related degree with 7 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to partner with business leadership to problem solve and influence outcomes
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work hours outside of routine schedule as necessary and travel occasionally
Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Experience developing and managing DT (IT) resources, budgets and ROI analysis
Experience with one or more major ERP applications suites, preferably Oracle EBS
Experience with one or more major MES applications suites, preferably GE Proficy
Experience working closely with business process owners on continuous process improvement and the application of technology toward this end
Experience managing groups that support DT (IT) infrastructure including telecommunications, networking, VoIP, security, Active Directory, Exchange Server and Windows Server environments
Ability to uphold Safety standards, participates in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follows our Manufacturing best practices
