Volt Workforce Solutions Electrical Systems Engineer II in Lafayette, Colorado

Volt is immediately hiring Electrical Systems Engineer II in Lafayette CO.

As Electrical Systems Engineer II you will:

The Electrical Systems Engineer II will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Required Experience:

BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. 2-5 years of hardware design or test engineering Advanced academic degrees may count toward experience. Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels is a mus Excellent analytical skills and demonstratable knowledge of electrical engineering and system level design. Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice- based simulation tool. Experience using MATLAB, Python, or other scripting language for scientific Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments a plus - including but not limited to aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical, or naval. Experience designing to industry standa rds (such as EMI/EMC) a Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
