The Toxics Cleanup Program{rel="nofollow"} (TCP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an Information and Policy Section Administrative Assistant (Administrative Assistant 3) *position. This position is located in our *Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.   Do you possess strong organizational skills, stellar customer service orientation, and the ability to be flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented?   If so, you would be a great fit for this position, where you will provide direct administrative support for the Information and Policy Section Manager and Policy and Technical Support Unit Supervisor for the Toxics Cleanup Program. You'll also provide general assistance to technical and professional staff in the section. Some of your administrative activities will include: calendar management, assisting with recruitment, hiring and onboarding new staff, drafting correspondence, memos and reports, coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling internal and external meetings. Additionally, you will supervise a Forms and Records Analyst, responsible for providing records and office support. You will oversee their work assignments, offer coaching and performance management, provide problem solving support, and cover as a backup in their absence.
