As a Category and Commercial Manager , you will be you will be the expert of the chocolate category for the full Swiss market. Internally, you will provide and share the market data updates with Nielsen and customer data and support the brand and KAM team with specific insights and analysis. Next to the ad hoc and monthly reporting, you will be the promotion analytics lead based on external and internal data.

A Day in the Life of a Category and Commercial Manager

Based on Innovation Customer Plan (ICP), drives customer planning in order to leverage all commercial opportunities

Give recommendation on promotion strategy per category and channel by leveraging the best working promotion mechanisms per channel also identify new promising channels for category development

Analyze understanding and vision of shoppers’ buying decisions within the store and give recommendations based on the analysis

Define channel optimal target assortment based on Marketing priority list, shopper insight, product performance and financial implications

What will make you successful

University degree or higher education degree

Proven experience of category expertise preferably on the retailer side

Analytical skills, conceptual and strategic thinking

Excellent Excel skills & data understanding

Fluent in English at a negotiation, recommendation and relationship building level, French and German are a plus
